Overview
Elizabeth Prehn is a practicing attorney at Moskowitz LLP. With two decades of experience at the firm, Elizabeth has helped hundreds of clients facing tax controversies, investigations, and criminal tax charges. At Moskowitz LLP, she has played a key role in the successful expansion of the firm’s services to clients. Elizabeth is routinely involved with multi-firm matters and coordination.
Experience
Elizabeth has played an active role in resolving tax matters for firm clients for 20 years. She has experience in handling tax controversy (audits, tax disputes, tax collection), criminal tax matters, (including unfiled tax returns and tax perjury), offshore matters, and witness representation. She also assists with entity revivors and compliance matters, partnership dissolution, business torts, breach of contract, bankruptcy, and malpractice litigation.
Elizabeth has contributed to the firm’s work representing both plaintiffs and defendants in front of administrative agencies, in court, and through mediation and arbitration.
Elizabeth has been active on several tax-related committees and bar associations. She has served as co-coordinator for the San Francisco Tax Club, and she volunteers for the Justice and Diversity Center’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic of San Francisco.
