Audit (lifestyle): IRS Alleges Unreported Income
The auditor for the Internal Revenue Service alleged that our client had not reported over $300,000 of income. The auditor’s basis for this allegation: our client’s lifestyle. We successfully represented our client and the convinced the IRS that the auditor’s allegations had no merit. In addition to the winning the unreported income allegation we also found and convinced the IRS to allow an additional $100,000 of bad debts previously omitted from the original tax return.
