Reem has played a key role in resolving pressing tax issues for more than 100 Moskowitz clients. The daughter of a family business owner, Reem understands the disruption tax issues can cause, and is committed to swift action and strong advocacy on behalf of every client.
She helps individual taxpayers and business owners with both state and federal tax issues. For clients facing audits, Reem assesses notices received, determines the most appropriate defense, prepares financial statements, and communicates directly with the tax authorities to achieve resolution.
For clients facing tax collection issues, she negotiates with the Internal Revenue Service and state authorities and has experience advocating for reduced liability as well as favorable payment plans.
Reem’s work with firm clients also includes counsel and filings in connection with business entity formation and dissolution, support in civil litigation matters, and coordination of documents related to tax return preparation.
In addition to her practical experience negotiating with tax authorities, Reem’s credentials include several awards in recognition of her achievements in the study of law. As a law student, she was selected for an externship in U.S. District Court, and managed customer relations for an international business.
Reem completed her bachelor’s degree in Egypt and is fluent in Arabic.
